About Me
Hi, I’m Ceyda Keskin — founder of Sailoscope, lifelong ocean lover, and someone who once wanted to be a mermaid.
That dream evolved, but the love behind it never faded. Today, I’m a maritime professional, diver, swimmer, sailor, and someone endlessly inspired by dolphins, whales, and the wild poetry of the sea.
I hold a degree in Maritime Business and Administration and have spent over a decade working in ship agencies, marinas, yacht charter, and maintenance companies. But my connection to the sea isn’t only professional — it’s deeply personal.
Our first sail yacht was an old, classic wooden beauty. We poured our hearts into her — refitting, restoring, and learning every plank and curve by hand. After that, we moved aboard our second sailing yacht, where we lived full-time for four incredible years. We sailed, learned, raced, and discovered that life on the water teaches you more than any classroom ever could.
The ocean is not just a subject I write about — it has shaped my work, my family life, and the way I see the world. Sailoscope brings all of those experiences together: practical knowledge, honest stories, and a lifelong curiosity about life at sea.
